time out of the e = experience
Strike time. Begin everything.

A real conversation between two people who already matter to each other. You choose who, and you choose a value of e. The questions are written for the two of you. The clock is struck out. What is said is yours to keep.

The belief

Zeroing time builds experience. Take clock time out. Not managed, not minimized, cancelled. What remains is the thing itself, ready to grow. The mark says it in one move: e raised to t, and an orange strike through the t. What is left is e. Pure potential, unbound.

And e? That is a variable. We keep changing what it stands for.

How it works

Four minutes of setup, then one conversation that does not get interrupted. There is nothing to learn and nothing to prepare.

01

Say who is in the room

Two people, the relationship between them, and one value of e you both want to sit inside. Then the part that matters: how long you have known each other, how often you really talk now, and one thing you have never asked.

02

The questions are written for you

Not a deck of cards that anyone could be handed. Questions built from your words, your history and your distance, in three directions. You read all three together and choose the one you both lean toward.

03

Time is struck

One question at a time. No timer, no counter, no progress bar, nothing counting down. You stay on a question as long as it holds. It ends when it ends, and it closes with one last question: what begins now?

Who sits down, and what you sit inside.

Two axes, never confused with each other. The first is the relationship, and it decides the tone of everything. The second is a value of e, and it decides the territory. The same two people can sit down twice and be somewhere completely different.

Parent & Child

Two generations who have run out of new questions. The conversations that never get the time, because time was always the excuse.

Friends

The ones who knew you before you were busy. Twenty years of history and a habit of staying on the surface of it.

open now

Partners

Two people who share all their time and spend almost none of it here. One conversation that is not about logistics.

open now

Siblings

The same childhood, remembered two different ways. Nobody has ever compared the two versions out loud.

open now

Grandparent and grandchild, mentor and mentee, colleagues, and two people who have never met. Every relationship is a different room, and the questions know the difference.

What you keep

The recording is cleaned up on its own. No editing, no software to learn. It comes back to you chaptered by idea rather than by minute, because a conversation that refused the clock should not be handed back with timestamps on it.

Private by default

Nobody sees it. Nothing is published unless both of you say so afterwards, in words, having heard it. That is the rule and it does not have an exception.

Your map of e

Every conversation is marked with the values of e it moved through. Sit down enough times and a shape appears. What the two of you circle. What you have never once gone near.

What begins now

Every conversation ends with both of you naming one thing it started. Those answers are kept together, and they are the part people come back to read.

Ten pairs. Be one of them.

A closed test is running now. Ten conversations, facilitated in person by us, at no cost. In return we ask you the awkward questions afterwards and you answer them honestly.

  1. Bring someone. A parent, a sibling, a friend, a partner. Someone the conversation is worth having with.
  2. Give us an hour. Possibly less, possibly more. Nobody is watching the clock, which is rather the point.

No spam. One reply from a person, and nothing else.

What begins now?

Somebody you talk to every week, and a question neither of you has said out loud. That is all this needs.
